Planning your day

You’ll have a great time on your day at the Unibet EuroHockey Championships, and taking a quick look at our tips below will mean you’re prepared with the ‘need to knows’ before you come.

Give yourself time to get here

Visit our ‘Getting here’ page for transport details, and remember it’s around a 20 minute walk across Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from Stratford station. But, there’s loads to see and do along the way, on the ‘Last mile’. We want to ensure you have the best experience as soon as you set foot on the walking route, and we have 4 exciting engagement opportunities along the way to the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre.  Your children can collect stamps along the way, and stop off and take part in the activations point sited on the Last Mile Map, on the right hand side.

Follow us on social media

We’ll be posting updates of all the action, goal highlights throughout the event, and useful info for you as a spectator on our social media pages:

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park has come alive since the 2012 Olympic Games, with visitors able to explore the unique parklands, waterways, venues and ever changing attractions. Go the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park website for more info about the Park.

There are a number of banks in close proximity of the venue such as Westfield Stratford, and while all our catering and retail outlets accept cash and card payments, we’d recommend you bring cash with you as there are no cash machines located at the venue.

Bring a water-proof!

Despite it never raining in England, one must always be prepared!  Bring an umbrella or waterproof for unexpected downpours or purchase one at the onsite store. Please take into account other peoples experience when using an umbrella in the seating bowl.

Prohibited Items

Alcohol, cigarettes, glass bottles, and sharp objects are all prohibited items to bring onto site.  Only alcohol purchased on site will be permitted.
